My pick is C. The modifer should be "possible" and not an adverb "possibily", so that leaves us with A and C. A is all good but "the other" infectinns seems misleading and wordy. C is the best fit and it also uses "such as" to give examples of the infections.
Sorry all for the delay in posting the OA. Thnx for all the discussions
OA is C
But I don really know Y C is being preffered over A. One reason could be the construction other infections... seems at best absurd
ne more thoughts??

IMO A
I actually eliminated C because of 'such infections as measles..'
above guys - who have posted - or some one else: please elicit the usage of such infections as measles.. is it correct? how better is it when compared to such as measles??

Such infections as ... is perfectly grammatical and acceptable.kiranlegend wrote:IMO A

such as measles and such infections as measles are both equally probable to form part of a correct answer, subject to the overall sentence structure ofcourse.
this thread is at stand still.. here we are yet to find reasons why C is preferred over A? please post your opinions.
thanks!
thanks!
