2/3 of the total garments = 18 +2

hence total garments = 30. ( 20*3/2)

Now inspected garments are 20
uninspected are 10

inorder to meet the 90% threshold . number of uninspected garments will would have passed are 10*0.9 =9.

I made one stupid error and as a result didn't get the correct answer. Instead of multiplying 20 by 3/2, I was doing it by 2/3.

.....for the last step, couldn't you also say that since 27 is 90% of the total garments(30), 27 garments must pass inspection in order to meet the 90% quota. So, 27-18(those that already passed) = 9.
