St 1: if we out the value of a in the Q stem ,we cant solve it as we don have the value for b.

ST 2: It can be simplified as a^2 + b^2 + 2ab=4 where as the Q stem is (a + b)^2=a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

so puttin the St 2 value in Q stem,we get
4+2ab+2ab
4+4ab

then putting the value of a from St 1
4 + 4(15/b)b=64.
