MBA GMAT PREP 2 FREE TESTS

by Lookingfor700GMAT » Sat Feb 13, 2010 11:39 am
Hi. I would like to know if it makes sense to do these tests more than once. I have taken the first test and scored 640,590 and 620 and on the second test I have scored 640,680. I didn't really look at the answers which I got wrong so it was not as though I was able to memorize the answers. Also I noticed that a lot of questions, particularly on my 680 and 590 scores were questions that I had not seen before. What are your thoughts?

There are other tests out there which you can use if you go through these GMAT prep tests. Kaplan has some, MGMAT has some, Princeton review... list goes on.

I also heard a strategy where people would take the tests more than once but if they saw a question they received before they would still work out the problem, but dock the allotted time per question, from the total time... so lets say i saw 5 questions from QUANT that i had seen before... i would have to finish the test in 65 minutes vs 75 minutes... (2 minutes per question)... and then as far as paying attention to your score... dont read into it to much

so i say it's fine to use the exams over and over again for practice, but then again ... using tests as practice usually isn't hte best way to learn the material
