hi,
please clarify on this....
-a new govt. survey of taxpayers (noun phrase because it has got a noun 'survey' which is modified by a, new, govt., of taxpayers )
- a drink of water (prepositional phrase because it contains the preposition of)
now both the sentence contain a preposition "of" . doet that mean noun phrase and prepositional phrase are the same?
again, 'in the attic'- is it a noun phrase or a prepositional phrase?
regards,
