Problems At Sentence Correction

by driekus » Sat Aug 21, 2010 8:23 am
Im looking for some advice regarding sentence correction. It is by far my weakest area and thus I have concentrated heavily on it. Im a professional scientist and my quantitative and reading comprehension skills are excellent. English is my first language. My critical reasoning is not too bad, but it is workable.

I have gone through my basic grammar principles (Cliffs grammar and Manhatten GMAT) and used the official guide for GMAT review to provide practice questions. I fee like Im stagnating and that not learning from my mistakes.
Has anyone encountered this problem before and if so how did you get around it.

What I have done:

1. I have studied OG10+11+12 three times. I have read all the official explanations seriously. I have also taken note from any new idea or concept discussed in the OG's.
2. I have taken a one by one online tutoring from nazar. He has helped me in learning every single point to crack sc. You can also take help from E-gmat. They are doing good.
3. I have done 1000 sc though there are some wrong answers, but almost all the sc's have been discussed in different forums. So, it will be good to search those sc's that are difficult to you.

Finally, have a good command on SC.

Thanks.

Sorry this may be a stupid question, but what does OG stand for?
