51. According to surveys by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, about 20 percent of young adults used cocaine in 1979, doubling those reported in the 1977 survey.

(B) to double the number the 1977 survey reported
(C) twice those the 1977 survey reported
(D) twice as much as those reported in the 1977 survey

Correct answer is E, but can someone highlight the problem with option "D"

D) twice as much as those reported in the 1977 survey

20% of young adults is going to be a single number

Ex: 20 % of 100 = 20, its a single number. "these"is not the right usage as 20 is singular.
"Single Malt is better than Blended"
