** Books, Study Guides, Etc. Quick Help!**

Hello all,

I am going to be taking the test in the spring, so I have time to prepare for the GMAT. I know that there are many prep courses and classes, but I would rather study on my own. To make things short...

What are the best book(s) that I should read/review to prepare for the GMAT?

What are the best resources to use? (I know I've seen a few around here so I will look into those)

Basically, if there is a GREAT review book out there please let me know. I think I can do pretty well on this test as long as I can just review some of the strategies and question types.

Thanks in advance,

Remember that if you plan to prepare the GMAT on your own, you'll have to be very disciplined . However, this is a fantastic community which will help you be motivated .
For books, I'd suggest that you browse through the "Books" section of the "Self Study" forum and read some reviews. You may also wanna check out what material did those who have scored well on the GMAT use in the "I just beat the GMAT" forum.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even notice the book section under "self study." I will surely check it out
