Does this sentence correctly compares 2 printers, [spoiler]i think it is incorrect as 2 entities being compared are 43 decibels of noise & most other laserjet printers[/spoiler]

CLP-300 laserjet printer emits only 43 decibels of noise, far quieter than most other laserjet printers

please see my doubt in spoiler... 'quieter...' is an adjectival phrase which will modify 43 decibels of noise

Few more :
a) The value of the dollar in international markets will continue to increase, as it has done since interest rates began to rise.
b) I will work hard as my dad has done
c) Never in my life i worked as hard as i will do for my next project
d) He has assaulted Maria in the past,and if let free, will do so in future
