D introduces New Information that was not present earlier in the Stimulus .The stimulus nowhere mentions the slightest possibility that the Algae might clog the Inlet Pipes whereas E is more air tight .
E says that alagae filtered by the Mussels will remain inside the Mussels if not transformed -True Common Sense
Hence Mussels themselves will be regarded As Hazardous Waste- Common Sense,Consequence of the Point above
