Hey guys,
I just took my 2nd MGMAT CAT and got a 670 (Q46,V35). My percentile rankings were Q:79%, V:77%, and overall 89%.
Last weekend, I took my first MGMAT CAT and scored 610 (Q44,V31), so an improvement, but I'm still not happy. My timing was not great on the Quant (had to pause the test near the end so I could attempt the last few questions), and knowing that that didnt help me focus. My DS definitely needs some more work and I got a lot wrong in Algebra and Number Properties.
My verbal also nosedived. According to MGMAT, I was answering 93% percentile questions until half way through, and a stream of incorrect answers dropped me down. Looks like reading comprehension is the weakest area here.
I'm going to go through the CAT questions in detail tomorrow, and then set a plan to practice my weakest areas from Quant and Verbal, before the next test on Friday.
Have you guys got any advice on speed, and what I can do to improve that? And what is the most amount of time you would give to a question?
