Is the Integer K an odd integer?

(1) K = 3 M where M is an integer.

(2) K = 6 J where J is an integer.

Is K odd?

1. K = 3*M

CASE 1: K = 3*2 = 6 ... K is even
CASE 2: K = 3*3 = 9 ... K is odd

INSUFFICIENT

2. K = 6*J = 2*3*J

K is a multiple of 2 so it MUST be even.

SUFFICIENT
