the value of ^(−7)^

What is the value of ^(−7)^, given that ^m^ = m^3 − m^2 − m?
A. −399
B. −385
C. −301
D. −287
E. 301

^m^ = m^3 − m^2 − m
^(−7)^ = (-7)^3 - (-7)² - (-7)
= -343 - 49 + 7
= -385

The correct answer is B.
