I'm trying to figure out the books I need. Please share some thoughts. I've already gotten the following:
Cracking the GMAT
Kaplan GMAT 2010 : Strategies, Practice and Review
Kaplan GMAT Math Foundations
Kaplan GMAT Verbal Foundations
Kaplan GMAT 800 : Advanced Prep for Advanced Students
I'll be taking the classroom course in a few weeks but intend to begin next week to work through the program on my own (following ideas from Eric - "beat the gmat" founder and his strategy). 9 weeks that Kaplan offers is not going to be enough for me to do what I need. Additionally I need to develop the discipline to do this as well as the stamina. I'm giving myself some weeks to be realistic with myself. I've been out of college for more than ten years.
I'm trying to figure out if I need this GMAT PRIMIER book. This is how it's been described to me by Kaplan bookstore staff:
The Course Book goes more in depth with the course. The GMAT Premier is a book that covers all topics on the actual exam. You will be able to review questions and different strategies from the GMAT Premier. It also includes an online syllabus and CD-ROM. On the online syllabus you will be able to access additional online exercises.
