GMAT Application Deadline

by kunjan800 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 8:10 pm
I couldn't figure out an approriate place for this topic so I apologize if it is not in correct place.

I am almost done with my preparation but before I take a date some time soon, I wanted to know what are the admission/application deadlines for most colleges? If I am already late for fall 09, I might as well give some final touches and take it easy in writing the test. There is no point to rush through this if fall 2010 is what is next best time.

are brilliant here.

This is a perfect question for them to field.
They will also have the best idea about how the US economy is affecting applications.

There are generally 3 rounds - - so find out which will most suit your lifestyle, goals, and will allow you the most appropriate time to best represent yourself.

Good Luck!

Incomplete reply, it seems!

First part of it seems to be missing.

Ok. Let me rephrase my question.

If I give my GMAT in a month's time from now (mid-December), am I late for Fall 09 applications?

Around which date do most college applications deadline fall to?

Hi Kunjan,

As far as my understanding goes( as I also intend to give my GMAT in Mid dec), The round 2 application deadlines for most top colleges is January 7th 2009. The third deadline is sometime in late Feb- Early March.
If you want to apply for round 2, besides GMAT socres, the little remaining time will have to be spent on essays, transcripts, recommendation letter etc. So definitely squeezed up for time for Round 2.
However I still think you can make it, if you have done some pre work for all those required application work.
Good luck to you!
