If x-y = 6

then x = 6+y

4(6+y) = 5y

24 + 4y = 5y

y= 24

5(24) = 10z

z = 12

plug in y and z to find x. Therefore you can find x+y+z

you can do the same with the second answer choice:

y = 36-z

5(36-z) = 10z-----> find z (z = 12)

plug it in to find y ( y = 36-12 = 24)

you can plug both y and z to find x and so each answer choice is sufficient.
