Hi, Can anyone help? thanks! Answer should be A 1 implies x=4n+2 for n=0 x=2 3^x+1 =10.....remainder is 0 when divided by 10 for n=1 x=6 3^x+1= 729+1=730 ....again.........remainder is 0 when divided by 10 2nd stmt implies x>4....is not sufficient.....as if x=5 then 3^x+1=244 and remainder is not 0...

As 2nd cond says
b^2 = c^2
b^2 - c^2 =0
(b-c)(b+c)= 0
b=c or b=-c
and if b=-c then a(b-c) is not equal to 0
