We are quickly approaching the Round 2 deadlines, and I find myself unable to visit a couple of programs (Booth/Columbia) before their deadlines. I did attend all my target schools' admissions sessions when they came to my city (less HBS). Does it hurt the application if you are unable to visit the campus before the deadlines? How about if you can visit the campus before the deadline, but you are unable to visit a class while school is in session? I am planning on visiting the programs in January. Thanks!

Not visiting school won't hurt your chances but it won't help either. The more you can show and not just tell (through your essays) the better chance you have of getting accepted.
For instance, I not only visited for my interview but also went and stayed at the school - I slept on my friend's couch - for two days to get the word out that it was my top school.
