Hello guys,
How good are IMS GMAT tests? (For those who don't know,IMS is a GMAT coaching institute in India)
How accurate are their score calculation methods?
Actually I took a IMS GMAT CAT today & got a very low score.
& I don't understand how??
Quant : 22 , Verbal : 18.5, Total score -550
Before taking this test I had taken below three tests
A) GMAT Prep----around 20 days back
Quant : 49 , Verbal : 22 Total score -590
B) Knewton----around 10 days back
Quant : 46 , Verbal : 25 Total score -590
C) Manhattan----2 days back
Quant : 46 , Verbal : 28 Total score -690

wondering how you got 550 ?? When I had first given official gmat prep test , I got Quant (41) and verbal (24) and my score was 560 . With 22 in Quant and 18 in verbal you are supposed to get < 500 ..... I have never given IMS tests , neither I intend too as there are many other well-recognized tests (like gmat prep , power prep , kaplan , princeton , manhattan etc) you can give to gauge your level .prachich1987 wrote:Hello guys,

I think I should proceed with kaplan & manhattan tests
Also I found that IMS tests contain many geometry problems
I have heard that GMAT doesn't give much weightage to Geometry
