Hmmm, normally, it is up to the school to make their own employment reports. I did a search for it on the Internet for you, but didn't see one, and it could be that they don't publish it. You COULD try and email the career center, and they might give you some guidance, but of course take everything with a grain of salt, because obviously all schools use this to market themselves.

Contacting both happy and unhappy graduates is also a good idea to get a feel (although not statistical) of what things are like on the ground.

Hi Jon

I did look out for alumni of the university but have been unable to get in touch with anyone. I have spoken to a few people who are currently in NUS or have passed out from there. There is a mixed opinion about the MBA program. The lady who has just finished her MBA from NUS feels that SMU is a better bet in terms of its contemprory approach to the program. NUS is a little more "asian" in its methodology. Though NUS undoubtedly has a better equity in the market, because it has been there for a while, SMU is catching up quickly on parameters of its general image and placements.

Ive heard quite a few good things about SMU. I want someone to be the devil's advocate now.

Regards

Saurabh

Hello,

Could you please let me know where you got this information from? I have tried for a long time to get the placement statistics for SMU Singapore 1 year MBA program, but in vain.

It would be nice of you if you could share me this info. :)

Thanks,
Sridhar

I would be extremely careful before spending 60,000 SGD on this MBA programme. After a quick check on Linkedin, I was able to retrace most graduates from 2012. It seems that barely 50% of them have updated their Linkedin profile after the MBA, which tells me that they are still looking for a job, 8 months after graduation. It is indeed scary. Do not trust the school stats, do your own due diligence. 50% placement 6 months out is too risky for me.
