I think the question is wrongly posted .
Xn should be Xn = 2X(n-1) - ½*X(n-2).
So X2 = 2X1 - ½ *X0 = 2*2 - ½ * 3 = 4 - 3/2 = 5/2.
Or X3 = 2*5/2 - ½ * 2 = 5 - 1 = 4.
The correct answer is hence C.
