I completely agree with your take on eliminating silly mistakes by mastering the basic stuff rather than learning new and more difficult concepts. There are so many questions I know I would have been able to answer correctly if I am better at the fundamentals.
Congrats on the great score!

Not sure which part of Asia you are moving to but in terms of name recongition, I think Columbia has the upper hand in general in Asia. But I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either program. It is a good dilemma you have there
Good luck either way!

Agree with Bschool2013. The 700 score is pretty much the threshold for the top schools, and it is more than competitive for the EMBA.
Congrats on beating the GMAT and good luck with your app!

Not sure exactly what area of operations/manufacturing you are looking at, I recently received an email from the MIT Supply Chain Management Program and I think it is worth looking into:

I think omaradi is right. The stats do not do the school justice since it is cater to applicants who will pursue a career outside of the U.S. post graduation. The school is worth looking into if you want a career outside of the U.S., but I have no idea exactly how prestigious or well known Thunderbi...

That is very true, back in the day when I was still in school I found that taking notes during class was very helpful in retaining info, despite the fact that I rarely go back and reread those notes later on.

Congrats about the great score! And I agree with your theory about performance in different setting. If I am in the right frame of mind, I can do very well in Verbal. Beside SC which requires some knowledge of idiom/grammer, the answer to both RC and CR are all there, we just need to be able to focu...

Glad to hear you are redoing it :) Seems like you need work on your Verbal more so than Quant. Here's a topic I came across about RC: -http://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2010/01/19/speed-up-your-reading-comprehension You can also go here to find some useful info regarding CR if you are not aware: -http:...

1. D We know that a total blockade of Patria's ports is necessary to an embargo, but this would likely cause international discord. We also know that a high degree of international accord must be sustained for a trade embargo to succeed. Since we likely cannot hold one of the two conditions of succ...
