Unfortunately, I don't have any insight on whether you should retake test because of the quant score. I've heard the same 80th percentile "rule" as you have but I'm not sure how important it is...

BTW, I did the same thing as you and only sent my score to one school. I'm only planning to apply to one school for now but if I have to send my score to more schools in the future it will suck having to pay the fee...
