Agree with you Saurabh.
Let me confirm my understanding. Currently the option is wrong because of the verb "was". Replacing it with "is" will correct it but since it is passive, C is prefered.

My GMAT is on the 31st of Aug. Looked for Kaplan 800 at few bookstores in Mumbai. The book is expected within a week but thats not for sure.
