Suppose you group the positive integers as below. 1-A 2-B 3-C 4-A 5-B 6-C .. .. .. If you multiply one number each from groups A, B and C then the result will be divisible by three. Indexing as ABC can be started from any number. That is so because you are dividing numbers into 3 groups and one of t...

If you have 3 or a multiple of three in denominator of a rational number, its decimal form will be non-terminating.
If you take II, all 3's in denominator will be cancelled and therefore its decimal form will be terminating. But expression I does not govern it.

IMO - B Here it goes.... Since y and n are integers and 450y = n^3, 450y must be a perfect cube. 450 = (3^2)*(5^2)*2 So to make it to nearest perfect cube, least value of y = 3*5*(2^2) - when this is substituted in option I, it gives an integer value 1. So it holds good. This is the least value of y...

Both options A and B are the same. When you multiply A with 3 throughout, it becomes B.
There is only one value of X(1240) which is divisible by 5 and also lies between the given ranges.
This holds true for option B as well.
So answer must be D.
