In the resulting mixture quantity of petrol, diesel and kerosene is 1/7+3/14, 2/7+5/14, 4/7+6/14 which is 5/14, 9/14 and 14/14. Or the required ratio is 5:9:14. I doubt since if the new ratio is 5:9:14 then quantity of petrol, diesel and kerosene in 1 part of resulting mixture be 5/28, 9/28 and 14/...

I do not agree. I gave the Knewton's diagnostic and got 700 (Q48,V37) and the next day got 680(Q50,V31) in GMT Prep 1.
In my opinion they are very close to the actual exam.
