i don't want to come off as pessimistic but... you are going to need something pretty significant to justify applying / or you have money and time to dedicate to the application. the people i know that are applying have 3.9+ and 730+ on the GMAT. plenty of leadership/extras/story of why harvard 2+2....

Hey All, I have a question about simulating real test conditions. How does one go about doing that in a library? What if you cannot use WiFi that long? Or, what if you have a battery that simply will not last 3.5 hours? Would sitting at home, with earplugs (and a TV making soft sounds), would that ...

permutations and combination problems on the real GMAT do not get too complicated... I think the MG GMAT book goes through it pretty thoroughly. I think it's in 'Word Translations'.

if you are at Q48.. I really think you can hit Q50. I was doing q47-48 on MG GMAT CATs... and I truly think that although the MG GMAT CAT is good prep/practice, it is NOT a good representation of the real deal. I got 50 in my last GMAT Prep practices and Q50 on the real GMAT. You just need to be car...

I'm in a little bit of a different situation, as I just graduated and would have extra time to test. I told myself when I took the test today that if I scored a below a 720, then I would take it again in about 2 months after I get back from brief break at another country. But.. on the flip side, if ...

I agree with B.

Theory: mass of size is positively correlated with the brightness of the star

Halley's mass = function of brightness

IF the brightness was underestimated, then halley's commet's mass was also underestimated.

Hope that helps.

I too am curious. To my understanding, if the time sequence is obvious (i.e. the date is included in the above example), do we need to use the past perfect? How about this simple example: 'After school ended, I played soccer.' Is this correct? Sounds good too me because of the "after" sugg...

I am not discouraging discussion. And I am sorry if I come off a bit rash. I normally don't, but in this situation, it seems as if I achieved my goal. You posted a Q and modeled it so that it had an official answer (aka YOUR answer/opinion). When others (including myself) chimed in on what we though...
