I studied abroad at CBS during undergrad. Not sure about their MBA program, but their undergrad program was solid--I had great professors and felt that its reputation was strong in Denmark and the surrounding countries.

Congratulations on the great score Micheal. could you please let me know if Knewton is good for quant prep. Basics are a bit rusty. Thanks! I go into a bit of detail in my debrief above about Knewton quant, but I can re-brief here. I found Knewton quant to be very good. However, it focuses more on ...

I took the GMAT 5 times, never breaking the 90th percentile (scoring 680-690) until my last attempt when I got a 760. Your concern has been a big one for me as well. But after doing much research and talking to several adcoms, I've concluded that for most schools it really doesn't matter how many ti...

Not sure. I only used OG12, OG2nd Edition, and Knewton's question banks.

Please Evaluate - 760 GMAT/3.58 GPA

Stacy/Lisa, I've enjoyed reading your evaluations and think very highly of your comments. I appreciate your willingness to evaluate my profile. Please note, if I apply to B-School this year, I will only have 2 years of full time work experience when I submit my application. In addition to evaluating...

You cannot bring anything into the test center. They provide you with a pen and a laminated pad of paper. My biggest advice is to ask for an extra pen at the very beginning in case yours runs out of ink. As far as the amount of paper (laminated paper) that they give you, one pad should be enough for...

I wanted to share the general content of a PM I sent the other day regarding my approach to CR questions. I've tried Manhattan GMAT's, Kaplan's, and Knewton's method for CR & CR note taking, but I found them all to be too time consuming. So I created my own hybrid method. The following describes...

Thanks for your response Michael. One thing that just came to mind as I clicked reply. I would like to ask how do you attack those bold-faced Q's as I always seem to lose focus with the wording in the answer choices. I know probably 1-3 will only come out but would love your insight on them. Thanks...

michael, i loved ur reply here for cyrwr1. i have one question for you : i have noticed that my verbal accuracy, typically CR and RC, goes down to 50% if i am not concentrating well at that time(happens soemtimes to me). SC is mainly constant. so does this mean that CR and RC need more strategy imp...

Congratulations on 99%ile! I hope I can join you with such a post in a little over one month's time! By the way, what were your percentiles for each section? You made an extensive debrief and I read through the whole thing! I feel I can obtain the 50+ Quant. level I have an inquiry regarding verbal...

760 99% (Q47, V47) - GMAT destroyed after a LONG fight!

When I saw the '760' flash on the screen this morning, I about lost it. I knew I had the ability to break 700, but I never ever considered anything above a 720-730 possible. Let me give some background first. I've taken the GMAT 5 times since September 2009, never scoring above a 690 until today. I ...

The Knewton algorithm is still seriously flawed. Today, I missed 3 on the quant section and scored a 45. Last week, I missed 5 on CAT#4 quant section and scored a 46. There's no way that missing only 3 question should drop my score that low. For the first official GMATPrep CAT I missed 11 problems a...
