Did you login to your ETS account and checked whether you received your scores? In my last attempt, I was wondering why I wasn't notified over email about the scores or that the scores are available in ETS, because when I checked casually in my account, I had already got the scores. I've checked it...

The ETS website has a tentative score report date of September 3rd for the exam taken on August 21; it's already the 5th of september...

Hey Franklin, I'm targeting Krannert for MBA too. I have a few questions? 1. Are Assistantships very difficult to secure, typically what fraction of the students are offered assistantships? (I've heard that there are very few assistantships available in the US, especially since the recession) 2. How...

with 660 you are saying to AdCom, that they should ignore your GMAT score and look at your GPA, workex, Extra-curriculars etc. I cant help but agree with you, it does look like I'm asking them to ignore the GMAT. I just cannot imagine studying, and writing the GMAT again! well done vivek 660 is not...

Guess what my strategy on the AWA is? I'm a decent writer and I remember one time I wrote literally 3 sentences as a reply and they gave me 4.5. Also that day happened to be my highest score on the GMAT. A month later when I went in to do a retake I actually used up the entire hour to do the AWA, w...

Thank you for your response. Of course nothing is certain when it comes to applications, many people have recommended that I retake the GMAT; they also say, just like you do, that most of the schools I hope to get into would be a long shot. The opportunity to prove many people wrong, is one that I c...

Thank you for your honest reply! Yeah I do realize that it would be hard to get into most of these programs. Re-taking the GMAT, however, is not an option for me. Would you recommend I strike out all of the aforementioned programs and look at say programs ranked 20-30 on the US rankings? Revised lis...

Hi Vivek, Congrats on your score! Did you find Quant & Verbal on the actual exam comparable to GMAT Prep Quant & Verbal? Were the RCs representative of the RCs in OG in terms of length and difficulty? Thanks, Boaz Well, I found math pretty alright.. Verbal was not too bad, I did, however ge...

660 and confused!
This would be my first de-brief, but my second attempt at the GMAT. First time around I managed only a 570, mainly because I made the mistake of attending a bogus prep course, which really hurt my chances. Second time around, I decided, to hell with all prep courses, I can do this on my own. So thes...

I have an older version of the kaplan book, which comes with a CD. Those tests are DIFFICULT! If you get a 620 in those, you're pretty much set for a 750 on the real exam. However, when I took test online on Kaplan site I found Quantitative very easy ( little easier than GMATPrep) and Verbal is comp...
