Profile Evaluation Request
Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place for this because I am not applying for an MBA but instead I am considering pre-experience Masters in Management programs as I don't have work experience. My profile is as follows: Age: 20 GPA, Major, School: 75.25/100, Business Technology, Helsinki Sch...

Thanks. I'll try to answer your questions. 1. Surprisingly, I actually found Quant quite easy today. I am sure that most of the questions I got wrong must have been because of stupid mistakes. The difficulty level is definitely closer to GMATPrep BUT (some people may disagree with this) MGMAT CATs g...

720 - 49Q, 39V, AWA 6 - October 2009
Woah, it may not be as much compared to all the 750s and the likes but I believe I have achieved my target. I'll sum up my preparation strategy but first the score break-up: Total 720 (94%) Quantitative 49 (87%) Verbal 39 (87%) AWA 6 (90%) I'm happy about the balance as well. 39 in Verbal isn't supe...

Hmm. I don't get it. If interests remain high, people won't buy homes. As prices rise, sellers will be forced to lower prices. Cost of mortgages will be too burdensome. Hence, high interest rates will cause the real estate market to stabilize. I suppose "stabilize" means people will start ...

G-Day 5th October - Preparation Summary/Early Debrief
Hey, I guess I'm almost done preparing now. I'll just practice OG questions today and tomorrow. I've used Kaplan 800 to some extent, OG Verbal Review, Powerscore CR bible and MGMAT SC Guide. I figured I should write this debrief (well sort of) so that those who are thinking about taking the GMAT see...

i took the gmat last month (re-taking on monday, 5th october) and am not sure about whether it is more difficult than gmatprep. see. the thing with gmatprep is that you are so used to these questions (they're repeated on forums and everywhere else) that after all the practice, in the real exam setti...

Are MGMAT scores deflated? I always score much lower on them. Although I have a strange feeling that they predict the actual score better than GMATPrep. GMATPrep is definitely easier than the real thing. I just did another MGMAT CAT and scored 700. :S

GMATPrep Reset - How accurate?
Hey, I just took a GMATPrep test (after resetting for the 2nd time) and scored 770 (51Q, 44V). How inflated would you say it is? I didn't "remember" any of the answers and none of the reading comprehensions were repeated. Naturally, there were a bunch of repeat questions but I didn't "...

Well, even I got it wrong but I understand the error now. "for clustered urban houses to include" changes the meaning of the original sentence. The original sentence seems to suggest (although expressed incorrectly) that she was for clustered-urban houses that (ALREADY) include communal ea...

But they essentially mean the same thing right? "Just as human beings do when they breathe" and "similar to the way human beings breathe". I chose the latter because it doesn't have any identifiable error and is much shorter. Does anyone have an explanation as to why E is the cor...

Thanks a lot for the help DanaJ, I really appreciate it! For me, the biggest source of hope at the moment is the fact that I barely prepared for Verbal the first time around. This time, I am trying whatever I can to ace Verbal! GMAT is ALL I think about these days. I went through the Powerscore CR b...
