I too agree with you for Q35
To me as well the answer seemed B.
But for Q37 , D is an obvious answer as it is mentioned clearly the relation with end products.

IMO answer is 3 hrs.
Check it and let me know
In 1+1/4 hrs , pool was filled 3/4 -1/3 = 5/12
It means in 5/12 pool is filled in 5/4 hrs
So pool will be completely filled in (5/4) * (12/5) = 3 hrs
