Is this score good enough for Insead / LSB ???

Is xy>0

1) x-y > -2

2) x-2y < -6

Ans: C i.e. both togather are suff. Pls guide me to understand the approach to such type of questions.

Problem Solving - Mass / Volume - Gmat Prep

Mass of 1 cubic meter of a substance is 800 kilograms. what is the volume, in cubic centimeters, of 1 gram of this substance? (1 kilogram = 1000 grams, 1 cubic meter = 1,000,000 cubic centimeters)

Ans: 1.25....Pls guide me to understand the approach towards the answer.

Gmat Prep - Series and average

What is the average of eleven consecutive integers?
1) The average of first nine integers is 7
2) The average of last 9 integers is 9

The answer given was D. i.e each statement is suffecient.

Can someone please explain me the approach towards the solution of this problem.
