Advice- Gmat prep test-570
Hi All, Today i took GMAT prep test Results in detail- total 570 Q- 41 V 28 surprisingly, Q and V score doesn't reflect my actual performance on individual section. Quant- 21/37 Incorrcet. 6/ first 10 Q incorrect. verbal- 13/41 incorrect. i'm surprised if i did 21 incorrect than how come Q went to 4...

IMO E statement 1) 2x-y>0 2x>y 2x may or may not greater than be Y if X is positive. but if x is negative than it can be greater or less than Y- not sufficient statement2- not sufficient. combined- we know that Y<0 say Y= -2 but if x is say -4 than 2x-y is not>0. hence not sufficient E

could you pls break the first statement and describe how did you arrive at x=1/3
is it is
(x+1)=2(x-1), I get x=3 and not 1/3

I took C as answer for parallel construction. thanks paual for pointing out "possible" makes May reduntant. if thats taken into account than automatically E is best choice.
