Q1:
1st digit: 4 possibilities
2nd digit: 5 possibilities (dont forget 0)
4th digit: 5 odd numbers, so 5 possibilities
3rd and 5th: 4 possibilities each

64 * 25 = 1600

Q2:
2/5. Could someone post explanation of the numeric solution, because I solved it my drawing table and fixing one of the choices?

I'd go with E w/o even testing any numbers.

I believe deviation is fancy word for difference. The actual range of deviation is 0 (10 - 10) to 2 (12-10).

Rephrase the question:

Is 3 < m < 13 < n. Is n divisible by m?

(1) 3n is divisible by m
(2) 13n is divisible by m.

(1) does not give us anything.
(2) 13n is divisible by m. 13 is prime number and it cannot be a factor of m, hence n/m has to be an integer, hence the answer is B

(ii) price of flowers is r, r-0.75, and r+0.25 respectively. Hence price of plantations is rn, 3n(r-0.75), and 4n(r+0.25). Dropping the n I got r, 3r-2.25, and 4r+1. This is not enough to determine which is most expensive (try diff numbers). Insufficient. Obviously r>0, then 4r+1 > r and 4r+1 > 3r ...

3.20 + 5 * x * days = 3.2 + 5 * k
5.80 - (1.4x - x) * days = 5.80 - .4 * x * days = 5.8 - .4k

5.4k = 2.6 <=> k is close to .5

3.2 + 5 *.5 = 5.7

If even speed = constant speed, then the answer is (C)

From (A) we learn that first 4 hours the speed was 56mph, from (B) we learn that last 8 hours the avg. speed os 56mph. Hence 56mph is overall average speed.

Given that S>0. Is S>T? (1) | st | = t t is obviously not negative. We know that s is positive, hence we can drop absolute value. We have s*t = t <=> {t = 0 AND s >0} {t > 0 AND s = 1} INSUFF (2) | st | = 7 1 * 7 = |1 * -7| = 7 INSUFF Combine both. t cannot be 0, hence t > 0 and s = 1 (from A). s = ...

m <=n
m<=m+(nm)x<=n?
(1) x<=n
obviously INSUFF
(2)0<=x<=1
m = 100, n = 200

100 <= 100 + 20,000 * x <= 200
x = .999999 vs x = .00000001

(1) x^2+y^2=1
INSUFF, with x = -1, y = 0, the equation is exactly 0
(2) x>0
