Congrats on the score!! I think thats very odd tho how 48 and 36 add up to 680. I scored a 48Q and 35V a few weeks ago and scored a 690. That seems a little odd. Hey that's a typo... it is actually 35... looks like GMAT maths isnt out of mind yet.. multiples of 12.. 36 & 48  But still.......

Good or bad? MBA where you went for Undergrad.
Ive been thinking much about business schools. I recently scored a 690 on my gmat, have been in the workforce since January, and have a decent GPA (3.2) with plenty of extraciricular activities. My university (U of Missouri) where I received my undergrad is decent, better than many. I am contemplati...

I was afraid of that to. I never scored over a 650 on a practice test. But somehow I managed to score 690 (48Q and 35V) last week. The highest I ever got on a practice test for quant was 42. I don't know what happened, I took it once and freaked and from what it looks like you have the skill to get ...

600 to 690 in ONE WEEK!!!!! (Q48,V35)
Okay, so I don't consider myself above average in Q or V, or what happened special. I'm a native English speaker with one year work experience. I got a C- and a D in Highschool algebra 1 and 2. How I got 48Q, not quite sure. I'm not a math whiz and am not one of those who whines when they get a 730....

Okay, I took the test TODAY. Wrestled it hard and did all I could. I did excellent in math (48) and got a 35 in verbal. Compared to OG and GMAT prep, I found RC and CR to be somewhat more difficult, but I found SC to be damn hard. I spent days and days studying SC and although I am Very happy with m...

Ive searched every avenue that I can and this rational helps me focus and have a good head going into the test. Some people are saying verbal is easier and some are saying its insanely hard. I dont know what to believe; Im just hoping somehow, I wont see the verbal section as exceedingly difficult. ...

IanStewart- What if GMAC was pressured by an outside force (ie, state department) to increase difficulty for Indian gmat candidates. A heavy influx of very qualified Indian professionals with high gmat scores could beat many Americans at getting admitted into the best American business schools. In a...
