Scoring above 92nd percentile inconsistently, need guidance
Hi All, I have taken a few MGMAT and VeritasPrep tests and I'm scoring anywhere from 730 to 790. My quant score is pretty consistent (49 or 50). In fact, while going through the test I can almost guess what my quant score will be based on the difficulty of the question being asked. Where I need some...

Rates and Inequalities
Can someone please show how to solve the following problem algebraically? I understand the concept of actual numbers vs. fractions but just don't know how to algebraically apply (2) to show sufficiency. On a particular trip, Jane drove x miles at 30 miles per hour and y miles at 40 miles per hour. W...

Absolute values and inequalities
Hello, Can someone please solve the following problem in detail? Especially the part where we have to evaluate absolute value based on two cases: x < 0 and x > 0. If each expression under the square root is greater than or equal to 0, what is Sqrt(x^2 - 6x + 9) + Sqrt(2 - x) + x - 3? A) Sqrt (2 - x)...

Quick Exponents Question
Hello,
Quick question on exponents:
I understand that (17^3)^4) = 17^12
But does 17^2^4 = 17^8? or 17^16? I ask because I just saw a second version being used in one of the answer explanations.
Thanks!

If m>n, then is mn divisible by 3?
(1) The remainder when m + n is divided by 6 is 5
(2) The remainder when m - n is divided by 6 is 3
OA is C
Or if number picking is the only option, how to pick smart numbers?
Thanks!
