Online data science at UC Berkeley
Hi,
Does anyone have feedback on the online data science Masters program offered at Berkeley? I've a data analysis background mainly in supply chain with basic programming background. Does this program help with getting into data science job market?
What's the GMAT cutoff?
Thanks.

Follow up
I haven't heard back from the school. The adcom had acknowledged my application and given me 1/15 as the date for decision. What's the best way to follow up? They haven't responded to my follow up e mail. I can, of course, call them and follow up but was just wondering any dos and donts there. Thanks.

Follow up after submitting application
How common practice is it to follow up with the admissions office to check on your application status? The school website gives the status info but I was thinking of calling the person in admissions office, whom I met during campus visit, and double confirming that she received my admission document...

One key observation is that the checkout process time is not factored into the 8 min, meaning it comes out of 8 min. Checkout process invovles following steps performed by test supervisor 1. escorting out of the candidate 2. Verifying your ID document 3. Palm scanning The same process is repeated wh...

Thanks for sharing the table. I still want to understand what does it mean in simple terms?
Does it mean that one of these combinations (either V38/Q47 or V38/Q48) is very rare to change percentile ranking of total score?

How can two different Quant scores make same total score
I'm sure this is discussed somewhere on this forum. How can two people have same GMAT score of 700 but one score breakout is V38/Q47 vs the other's score is V38/Q48.
Thanks.

Congrats!! Here is my question for the experts. I got the same score 700 recently but my Quant is 47 along with V38. How is that possible?

Scored 700. Thank you BTG community
I scored 700 on GMAT (V38/Q47) last week. This was my second attempt after almost 3 years. I studied little over 2 months. My study wasn't very systematic because of a busy work and family life plus a job related move. Nevertheless, I was focused. Practice is the key. The main thing I'd suggest is n...

Great job.
I also got 700 score but the combination was Q47/V38. I wonder how does that work unless GMAC recalibrated the scores in the last couple of weeks.
Thanks.

Relation between Quant / Verbal scores and GMAT score
Hi, My target school requires each section (Math and verbal) scores above 75 percentile. This means that the individual eligible scores would have been at least V36/Q48. Now, from the scores reported on this site, this combination (V36/Q48) should generate a total score above 700. The contradictory ...

Readiness for GMAT
My GMAT is scheduled in next week. This is my second GMAT attempt after 3 years and I'm better prepared this time. I'd like to get your thoughts on how to decide whether I'm ready for the exam or not? My GMATPrep scores are close to the target score. However, what's the acid test to know that you ar...

Retake GMAT second time
Hi,
What's the shortest time recommended to retake GMAT?
I took first GMAT in 2009 and scored 600 (V24, Q48). My target score is close to 700 but not necessarily 700+.
Also, how important is verbal score if I plan to apply for a MS degree in supply chain from a reputed university?
