Hi Mitch, I am just wondering why didn't you take incandescent bulb as x and florescent as y??
Why did you florescent to be 100-x?
Also, why don't we get the correct answer by equating these two equations:
Say, incan =x
and Floro =y
ad total bulbs be 100.
Therefore, .4x+.9y=80___(1)
and .6x+y=20
