I agree with westsidah408. Throw out your test scores. You got into a bunch of top schools your score is good enough for any of those MC firms. If you network well, learn about the companies and interview well you'll get good offers. I will have to say I'm so sick and tired of hearing about test sco...

So this is only for applicants? And then getting the money is contingent upon them getting in? I don't understand. Can you explain the logic in that?

Haas is awesome. A great college town and nice small student body. Can't beat the weather either! It Is very exclusive in who to accept so I'd say you already have a competitive edge for recruiting by virtue of that. I respect your choice and would have probably gone there of I had applied and gotte...

A 700 is great. You will be fine for interviews with Top shops. Not surprised darden people told you that. they are known for taking themselves way too serious. Those same type of people told me i needed a 700 to get into top schools. Well I was way below that and got into all the places I applied, ...

I think the best thing is to reach out to people within the consulting club at the school you are going to, or if not accepted yet the schools you want to go. You should get the best answer there that will be most recent based on students who have been hired there. However, it's not make or break, j...

Yes, MBB will look at your GMAT. They will NOT pull from your GMAC record, but will ask for it on your resume. It is important so you should try to take again this spring/summer to get above 700. It will greatly help your recruiting chances. I know because I worked in consulting for a few years and ...

Booth hands down if you want to work in finance. 50% of people go into finance. All the top finance people recruit there. You may say the same for Columbia, but Booth in general is more widely accepted as a better program, facilities, less "sharks" like Columbia. However, the location is C...

That's easy. Go to USC. One of the strongest brands and the socal network is HUGE. If you want to work in SoCal go to USC. Emory is regional and it'll be hard to land a job in So. Cal. A big reason people chose the schools they do is for the network, relationships, job placement, etc. Emory is a goo...

Kellogg is best. Duke and Michigan are great too. Every company that recruits at Kellogg also recruits at Michigan and it has the largest alumni base in the US. If you don't care where you live, than go for "fit" you should do a bunch of research and also visit the schools. You are getting...

Sai, you're GMAT is good enough, gpa a little below average, but what is the degree? knowing what I know, you can apply anywhere. 3.5 years is plenty as long as they believe you have had enough experience and accomplishment to contribute in the classroom and have leadership potential. You don't need...

Go ahead and apply, it can't hurt. If you think you can put together good essays, good recommendations and can show achievement and leadership than you should. And if you don't get accepted, than you can do it again next year. I know people who have way lower GMAT and come from lesser schools and ge...

between the two, Chicago is stronger for what you've described as your interests, talents and goals. The $40,000 is worth it. Chicago has some of the best teachers in the world and is very quant, econ based. You are lucky your employer will pay for the schooling.
