SC - Idiom Questions only

Expert replies

Hi All,
I have been going thru SC for quite some time now. One of the most important areas to improve upon for a non-english speaker in SC are the idioms. Answering a question becomes so much more easier if you know the right idioms. Usually all official GMAC questions have just one correct idiom in the answer choice. So if you know the right idiom you have the answer right away.

I would suggest we try and make this thread a lot more intuitive by adding in the list of idioms that we know of/have come across. And solve all questions related to idioms in here.

Suggestions are welcome. If this seems a hit, then we can have sub-sections created important areas in SC.

Thanks
Sachin

GMAT Idiom List (from Official Guide)

Here is a GMAT Idiom list composed of problems from the Official Guides. It is very thoroughly documented. This helped me a lot.

Also, you should download the official guide prep test and go through all the sentence corrections.
