If E and F are two independent events, and have the same probability p, what is the probability of E without F?

it's p IMO.
Let's say:
the prob of "yours truly" getting into harvard is 0.999999999.
and the prob of dinosaurs coming out of nowhere and jumping on the guy in the next cubicle is the same(I wish:)), buit it doesn't have anything to do with me unless
the two events are not Independent that is
1) the dinosaur jumps on me too or
2) the guy in the other cubicle applies to Harvard
Let's say:

that should be the probability of E happening AND F not happening.
