B and D are incorrect because both use "whom".
C is incorrect because it uses between (so does D as well)
that leaves A and E
the correct construction would be "to find volunteers from among the people". "to find volunteers from the people" implies as though the task is to ask the people who would like to volunteer (in true sense even this meaning is not conveyed correctly).

Among is used to refer to more than two people. the use of 'from the' is correct when referring to single entity. eg.
A shift from the dangerous present course is possible.
Get me the book from the shelf.
In present context, 'from the' is used to refer to many volunteers from people (a plural entity), hence use of 'among' is must. 'Who' acts as subject for verb ' worked' whereas 'whom' is only used in subjective case.
thanx

Verbal hummm.. need less to say, my weakness. To me it looks almost equivalent or may very little easier than MGMAT & GMATPrep but surely easier than Veritas Free CAT. Vertias RC & CR were much more difficult than any of the test I taken so far.

I would say Princeton quant is really easy compared to the other tests/material...
I am not sure how trustworthy the scores are but postings on the net do seem to indicate that the overall scores are somewhat accurate... I am a bit surprised though
I have attempted 2 CD tests so far and the quant is considerably easier than the other material. Also, the tests seem to draw from a small pool of questions so some of the quant questions are repeated as I think the pool of high diff Qs seems to be quite small

If you are finding volunteers you either need to find them from a place (such as a highschool) or from between or among a group of people.
here this question is about finding them from among a group of people thus we need to determine whether to use between or among. This is a quesiton of number - you choose between two things and you choose among three or more things. Because people who work at the estate is generally more than two (and you would normally name the two if there were only two) the appropriate choice would be "among."
Then the question is who vs. whom - the easy rule of thumb is that you use who whenever you would use "he" in the sentence and whom whenever you would use "him." In this sentence we would say "he worked at the estate" not "him worked at the estate" and therefore "who would be your correct choice - which leaves you with E.
