Telephone interviews are basically the same as face-to-face interviews except you are talking on the phone. Some would say that might be an advantage as you can wear whatever you like as opposed to a suit since the interviewer can't see you.

Basically, you will prepare the same way as the questions will be the same. Be sure you are speaking clearly and into the phone so the interviewer has no problem hearing and understanding you. You might also need to be slightly more animated to get across your enthusiasm and inflection if you generally rely on your hands or body language for emphasis when talking.
