Will I need to retake GMAT (my first attempt i scored 560)? Will my low GPA affect the outcome?

Prasath,
Thanks for your note. I worry that your low (2.6) college gpa combined with your low (620) GMAT score will make it very difficult for you to gain admission to any top business school. I strongly suggest that you retake the GMAT and aim for a score near 700. In addition, you should consider building an alternate transcript in order to offset your college gpa. I recommend courses like accounting, statistics and economics. Be sure to get A's in these subjects. If you do these two things this fall, you will be in a better position to apply to schools by the Round 2 (January) deadlines.
Sincerely,
Eliot Ingram
