The argument that this particular food processing company expects to maximise it's profits during it's silver jubliee omits some important aspects in order to substantiate the argument. The argument begins with a questionable principle that boosts about experience and efficiencybeing directly proportional to each other, this alone does not constitute a logical argument in favour of maximising efficiency and profitability, and it certainly does not provide enough support to the main argument.
Most conspicuously, the argument does not address what constitutes and leads to efficiency. Firstly, the argument assumes experience will bring efficiency and minimise cost to maximise profitability. Secondly, the possibility of certain organisation not learning from experience.Thirdly,in industries like photo processing and food processing technology is the key. Technologically advanced procedures and equipment play a vital role to enhance efficiency.
In a week attempt to support it's principle, the argument compared a five-day service to a one-day service rather than comparing a five day service to a five-day service.
Finally, the argument fails to address other means to maximise profits along with minimising costs. Technological advancements, high productivity, timely training are a few reasons.
Because the argument leaves out several key aspects,it is out sound or persuasive. If it includes and elaborates on the items discussed above rather than solely explaining what experience does, the argument would have been more thorough and convincing.
