I am not sure in OA, that's why I'll post OA after some discussion.

I would go with B.
A is not sufficient because knowing the total area will not help you when trying to find out the number of lots.
B would be sufficient because it says there that "EACH resulting lot" has a frontage of 125. That means that the total area was divided into 6 smaller lots. They're not necessarily the same size, but they all have a frontage of 125.

If I interpret this question the right way, I would say 'B'

Frontage (wikipedia says) - Frontage is the full length of a plot of land or a building measured alongside the road - so I assume 750 is the length of the Plot.

So if its subdivided into 'n' plots

A) The Depth (or width) won't help
B) Each resulting plot has a frontage of 125. So 750 = 125n
n= 6

Hence 'B'

Whats the OA?

-A

Answer is B. Here is official explanation.
However, I doubt. here is my logic.

We know the lenghth of rectangular piece of property - it is 750.
Question asks: Into how many pieces was the property subdivided?

(2) Gives us that each new resulting lot has the length of 125.
But we do not know the width!
Imagine:
rectangular plot with lenght 750 and width 100 is divided by small lots 125*100 => we got 6 new lots.
OR:
rectangular plot with lenght 750 and width 100 is divided by small lots 125*50 => we got 12 new lots.

Therefore, answer is E

What do you think?

If EACH resulting lot has frontage of 125, and there's a total of 750ft of frontage, then there must be 750/125 lots.

We don't care how big each lot is, we don't care what shape each lot is, we just care that there's only one way to divide 750 by 125.
