How do I break out of a range?

by mahesh7 » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:28 pm
hi

I have taken GMAT Prep, Manhattan and Kaplan tests. My score is range bound between 640 and 690. How do I break this range? I am targeting 750 and it seems to be a tall order for me now.

Thanks

How long do you have, and how hard have you been practicing?

If you have time, and have been practicing hard, I recommend taking a sabbatical for a week to reccuperate. Then practice again... Almost like a muscle, your brain needs some recovery time.

Of course, if you haven't been practicing, you need to do that :) Taking practice tests is not training; you need to identify your weaknesses, and improve those areas.

hi

I have been spending about 12 hours/week for the past 6 weeks.

I identified SC was one of my weaknesses and have been learning the concepts from Manhattan SC. I got better over the past 6 weeks.

I have another 10 weeks for the test. But I can postpone it if I can't reach 750 in my practice exams.

How do I break out?

Thanks
