If x>0 satisfying 3√x/4=x^w
Then the value of w is ?

A)2/3
B)-2/3
C)-3/2
D)3/2

Pick a convenient number for x. Let's use 16.

Since the square root of 16 is 4, the left side of the equation simplifies to 3.

So the equation becomes 3=16^w and we need to solve for w.

We can estimate that w will be somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2.

None of the answers fall into that range.

Are you certain that the problem is correctly stated?
