In May, Xiang sold 15 used cars. For these 15 cars, the range of the selling prices was $15000 and the lowest selling price $4500. In June, Xiang sold 10 used cars. For these 10 cars the range of the selling price was $16500 and the lowest selling price was $6100. What was the range of the selling prices of the 25 used cars sold by Xiang in May and June?

A. 15600
B. 15750
C. 16820
D. 18100
E. 19200

The highest selling price in May is 15000+4500=19500. The highest selling price in June is 16500+6100=22600. Therefore the highest selling price in both months is 22600. The lowest selling price in the two months is 4500. Then the selling range is 22600-4500=18100.
