I am a lil confused on this one.. There are 3 teams with 3 members each so there are total 9
members. But max value of n is only 5.. so, I guess anyone finishing 5th to 9th will get 1 point
each..

In that case least point acquired by a team would be when all 3 members of the team finish
between position 5th to 9th...

So total point would be 1+1+1 = 3..

This would be my take on it.... anyone else???

The way I see it is that there are 9 racers and that only the top 5 finishers are given points since 6-n points are given when 1<=n<=5.
Since no team will earn more than 6 points, One team could receive 5 (1st place) and 1 (5th place), and second team could receive 4 (2nd place) and 2 (4th place). Therefore the last time would receive 3 points. There's probably a mathematically expression to this problem but this is the logic I followed.

Total points to be distributed:
6 - 5 = 1
6 - 4 = 2
6 - 3 = 3
6 - 2 = 4
6 - 1 = 5
Total: 1+2+3+4+5 = 15

Least possible score of team C when team A and B have the maximum possible score.

If A has 6pts and B has 6pts, there are still 3 points to be taken by the team C
